Kinetics
This is my dog Rosie, she is a mini pincher and is super active and perky. Most the time she is always in motion, which then deals with kinetics. As she runs around my yard in circles, that's her favorite thing to do actually, as she finishes a lap, she has 0 displacement because she is finishing in the same spot. Although, she does travel quite a distance after running 10 laps, she still has no displacement. She could be traveling a distance but she still is ending up in the same spot. Therefore, she has 0 velocity however, she does have speed. Depending on when I'm taking my dogs instantaneous speed, the faster she could go would probably be finishing a lap (20 yards) in around 10 seconds.

First off, your dog is suuuuuper cute (: And I really like how you were through in your descriptions of displacement, velocity, and speed. It made a lot more sense seeing it from that point of view.
ReplyDeletegreat application to what we learned. It clearly shows understanding of what we learned about the speed and velocity.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys :) I hope it was a clear description
